I am really sorry for situation. I returned from hospital 2 days ago after almost 1 mounth hospital stay and now I will back to work on GG@H.
I see I have much to work out:
1. phMailer stop to work
2. some problems with analyzers
3. badges won't update

Good to hear that you have recovered and returned home.

There's no rush, whenever you feel up to it.

Get your health in order, then you can start stressing out about this project.

Cheers to a new year, good health and good fortune for 2018.

My man, I had triple bypass surgery in August. I know what it's like to be in hospital for an extended period. Get yourself well. Non-CPU-intensive projects to determine how many monkeys it would take to type all of this or that can wait for you to be well.

God bless. To your continued recovery... :) Cesium*...

Thank you and for you too.

Small update:
1. db_purge delete all old records from database which is now about 25gb smaller on disc (14gb result table and 11gb workunit table)
2. i made some tunning for router and proxy <- i increased connection limit from 1024 to 8096 and I hope that will be helpfull
3. feeder is running again <- in next 2-3 days I will try to put new WU on server
3. Analyzers has reached about 40% progress with old results

yes, my mistake.

update:
1. analyzers finish their jobs
2. generators will start working in next 30 minutes <- but in next week i would like to change generation style to not killing server performance... I started work on new script for it
3. i stop db_purge for 3-4 days to test new database server configurations

My plan for next weeks:
4. I started working on results page:
4a. first step is restore old results pages
4b. second step is new statistic pages with boost, ajax or somethink like this with more chart etc
4c. maybe i will prepare statistic for every word we ever have in results <- that would be nice information
4d. and last but most important I have to include some mathematical formulas to know propability for every random word and words from dictionary

2. I know that thare was a problem with connection to server today, but I can only try to make the server work, but.... then mother nature decided (again :( ) to uproot trees and throw them on fiber optics on poles <- I can't fight with her :(

With the understanding that your plate is quite full, will there ever be any more Android work?

I'm curious about Android work as well. Glad to see you're out, may the rest of your recovery be a swift and painless one!

Next update on work:

Because generators kills my server I had to change work style for it <- server used more power to generate work than to handle connection from host.
And then all generators starts it's increase server load from 3-4 to even 50-60 <- of course whole filesystem is set up on SSD but even ssd don't like to create 1,5kk small files.
At this moment v1 and v2 has the same solutions I prepared 6 mounths ago for DrugDiscovery@home (as you know I am admin on it).

Full process look like:
1. on other laptop (the same I am using to analyzing results) I generate full series of WU. For v1/v3 it's 700k tasks in one series and it takes about 5-10 minutes using local directory
2. after scripts finish creating series it's start RSYNC and move files from local to my NFS server <- it's takes more times I planned but time is not issue in that case
3. gg@h NCI has mounted the same nfs directory and generate wu from this files <- I tested it right now and generate 25k wu for monkeys_v1 takes less than 5 minutes <- with old solution 25k takes 15-20 minutes :)

why it's good solution:
1. everythink is automated
2. I don't have to generate full serie of WU on server for every app what will increase performance for database which will has about 2-3GB on disc <- now it's is 15-20GB. Server has right now (after some damaging) 8GB ram and mysql has inndb buffer at 4GB level.
3. I can have as many tasks for every app I can generate <- maximum 8TB on server :)
